Anybody here going to see the reunion concert, London, Nov. 26, 2007?

I was never lucky enough to see them before Bonham died but I did see Plant a couple of times and he always did a couple of zeppelin classics .....

...... the greatest band ever.

Ehh... London's pretty far away for a band I never really got into.

Hope you have fun.

I'm a Zephead. I grew up on their music. I have seen Page and Plant seperately, never together. I have all of their releases including a ton of bootleg stuff. I'd give my eyeteeth to go. I don't have the resources to go to the UK for a show, though.
What is Bonham's car doing there? Did his son Jason get it? PICS please!

I saw them a couple times in 1969/1970 but I think I'll be missing this concert.

I had tickets to the Page/Plant, No Quarter, concert in Vancouver May 26th, 1995 ...... but I couldn't make, still kicking myself...

Back then they must have put on the best shows, the really early stuff, raw/unpolished, had a bootleg from that era....unbelievable!

Best show I saw was when they played the 1969 Newport Jazz/rock Festival. It was an interesting weekend as we had crashed the gates Friday evening & fearing a riot the promoter let the festival go on. Along with the popular jazz acts like Miles Davis the bill included Jethro Tull, 10 Years After, Jeff Beck w/Rod Stewart, Blood Sweat & Tears, Frank Zappa & the MOI, John Mayall, Sly Stone, Johnnie Winters, BB King, James Brown & others with Zeppelin closing the festival Sunday night. Since the crowd had gotten pretty wild during Slys show saturday night the promoter announced late Sunday afternoon that Zeppelin would not be allowed to play as he feared riots. Supposedly Peter Grant told him that if he didn't allow them to go on the band would set up in the street & play. The show went on & Zeppelin did not disappoint. All & all probably the best weekend of music I've yet to hear as I was much too fuk'd up at Woodstock to remember much of anything.

Don't bother trying to buy a ticket off eBay or the pass code or anything else.Unless it was your name in the 'hat', you ain't gonna get in. Pity,I'd love to see them.

Looks like the concert has been postponed until Dec 10th. Jimmy Page fractured his finger.

Anybody heard the Robert Plant & Alison Krauss collaboration album yet?

gotta love the reverb on the "Rich Woman" track.

Just buy the Song Remains the Same DVD and get real wasted and watch it in the dark

I only need to watch the DVD and the acid flashbacks kick in.
There was a theater near me that used to play TSRTS marathons every friday and saturday from midnite til 6 am. Their sound system was state of the art, even for today. I have probably seen it 40 times, I know every move, every nuance in the music. There wasn't a lot to do in Buffalo after 10 pm when I was 15. It is one time in my life I wouldn't change.

I suspect all your bootlegs are on vinyl?! Have you had the chance to digitize any/all of them yet? I've got a pristine vinyl bootleg of theFIRM (Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, Tony Franklin & Chris Slade) somewhere, ... hint, hint, hint....

It's not flashbacks...it's rebates on all that money spent on drugs

Dr. Bob - That sounds like a significantly cheaper option but is that healthy? ;)

here's a clip on the Harvey Goldsmith thing: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fFjI21Hclzs

i spent a few bucks trying to win a trip, my chances were somewhere between 18-30% and the person that won the trip had a 0.025-0.050% chance.... then again i had a 70-82% of not winning :( ....bummer!
