Well, I sold my 1989 525IA M20 with 220K and got what I think was a steal of a deal on my new 1995 530IA M60 Alusil with 105K and all service records. The car sat on a lot for 2 months. I grabbed the VIN, did some research, test drove it and decided I had to have it. Getting used to the gas mileage has been difficult but I never really knew what I was missing until I got behind the wheel of this garage kept, meticulously maintained Oxford Green beauty. I got it for 5K. I couldn't pass it up. It even came with a little boy in the back seat. :D Here are a few pictures. Enjoy.

Nice ride. If it's in as good a shape as it sounds and looks...you got a good deal too!

Omg!!!!! That's absolutely gorgeous! I had no idea oxford green was so flabbergastingly beautiful!

Wait, what are you talking about with the gas milage? My m20 is horrendous, 15.6 around town here.

You can't be worse than that...

5k? Again, omg! I'd be lucky to get that for my m20 with dents and dings and 168k... (It still has usable clearcoat, which I have gorgeously restored ftw)
Don't get rid of that for a while... I would say you're lucky, but it's hard work to find a deal that good and follow through, congratulations!

I'll take some pictures of the interior tomorrow. It is in fabulous condition. The ashtray and the toolkit have never been used. The only thing I have to do is replace a bulb in the Instrument panel and OBC and order a new coolant temperature sensor. I love driving this car. So far, I'm getting 20 mpg in the city compared to the 25 I was getting in my M20. I'm taking in on the road for a 60 mile trip to Baton Rouge next week. I'm looking forward to seeing how it rides on the highway and what kinda gas mileage I'll get. I can't begin to tell you how happy I have been with this car. I've been getting compliments on it at work since I bought it. Got my windows tinted 35% all around and 20% in the rear. Here is a picture of the engine bay. This picture really doesn't do it justice as it is much cleaner than it appears here.

Looks great nice find! you will love the car on the highway, mine I put a taller gear in the rear for city responsiveness and that helped city mileage. i get about 20-22 hwy but i also never changes the O2 sensor.
