Now that i've put in the vanos harness in my m50tu, there is a problem. The fuel pump does not prime when the key is in the ignition. There is a click, but no whirr. I checked and there is no fuel in the fuel rail either. What could this be? Isn't the fuel pump independent of the harness?
Also the starter motor works even after the car is turned off, or at least something makes a vacuum cleaner-like sound from that area. Does this mean it's connected improperly? It worked just fine before.
Any advice would be appreciated.
