I had >>>ASC<<< msg. in my check control a couple of times while driving then it goes out after a while...but the weird thing is I don't even have ASC!!! WTF??? someone had this problem? do you guys think its my check control module on its way out?or just needed some cleaning?

resolder the check control module. I have posted a link for that from a regional German E34 board with pics, which points are most important
