I really want the bluetooth feature on my headunit, it's the best thing ever I think. The CD43 doesn't have it right? and I also need an ipod adapter. any one know of a good headunit with these features that can blend in with the E34's consoles?

I've got an Alpine CVA 1004 R which has a black fascia but has green illumination, you can get a cva 1004 rr (extra 'r') which has red illumination. These alpines are really good I think, good sound and you can add features on, I've got an Ipod interface on mine where you control everything through the screen and theres also a bluetooth add-on. I know you can buy head units with bluetooth capability but I think you will be hard pushed to find one that can control an Ipod as well all in one single DIN unit although things may have moved on a bit in the last couple of months!

I've just invested in one of the new sony cheapo units £120...

Has bluetooth handsfree and bluetooth streaming audio on it, which means if you have a later gen sony erricson/etc phone that supports it, you can use your phone as an MP3 player for the car and it just streams the audio direct to the headunit. Brilliant idea, just I need a bigger memory card for my phone now :'(

Only annoying thing is it carries on this chavtastic thing for garish blue lights... which is really really really really really really annoying at night cos it's blindingly bright. Might have to take the front panel apart to tone down the colors.
