O/T M43 316i

guys i've searched cant find anything. anyone familiar with an m43 316i engine? if ever where is the ICV and how can I take it off so i could clean it? if possible with pics will greatly help. thanks

It depends on the year of the car. The early (03/95) one that I work on looks like this (part 8) - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CG12&mospid=47451&btnr=13_0390&hg=13&fg=15

But later ones look like this (part 9)-

It should be able to be cleaned up carefully with a bit of carby cleaner.
