OT: E30 325i Convertable

This topic is somewhat OT. My dad is looking at this E30 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6007&viewitem=&item=320155755376&_trksid=p3907.m29) and I would like to know what you guys think. I think it looks pretty good and it seems most of the issues have been taken care of. My major question is the price. For an 89 almost $4000 seems pretty steep, though there do seem to be some upgrades such as the sound system. It appears this car was imported so I guess that would mean that all of the emissions systems were added after the fact leading to my next question: Would it be basically the same as a car produced for the US market? Obviously the best bet is to set up a time to go look at it in person but with a little over 2 hours left that isnt much of an option.

Overpriced in my opinion. 4Gs should buy a very nice one, this one doesn't seem so.
Don't buy it sight unseen at any price.

the top of the back seat is not split so either it's seen real good care or it's been replaced, 4k for a top notch e30 ain't horible, but it needs to be pretty good
