I'm driving the E34 up to New Hampshire...and leaving it there!

I'm leaving it for a week with the guys at the Eurodepot. They finally have a 5-spd conversion kit in stock so now I'll finally have a stick shift:D

...I may do that soon too, as my R is slipping in the 93 slushbox.

Okay just got back from dropping it off left Long Island around 3:00ish and got there at 7:30. I managed about 90 and would've made better time if I hadn't hit the inevitable NY traffic not to mention many lane closures along the way. The drive was gorgeous and it went pretty quickly the E34 never once missing a beat(for some reason I think it'll break down on me eventhough it has never once given me a problem). Anybody even considering having the Eurodepot work on their car should go for it. from my interactions with them so far they have very reasonable pricing and they're nicest people you'd ever want to do business with.

do they have a website? NH is not that far from where I am, and I'll be in Laconia / Loudon for the Nascar race on the 16th - I might want to go check out their shop.

Oh god the wait is killing me. I just found out it probably won't be done until sometime next week:( . I think I have to get another E34 just because I can't stand to be without one for this long:(

Would you mind saying how much you paid for everything?

I'm considering this...I'm driving it up to Maine anyways next summer.

Really not bad...

I guess you could shave off a few hundred with no LSD and SSK but what's the point there...:D

I was told if I wanted to save money you could get used parts but I'm not the type to skimp when it comes to my car

Gotcha. I'm the type to save money because I'm a poor college student. :p

So did your auto tranny die? Did it last the full 170k? Any fluid changes on the autobox?

Just trying to see how long mine will last.

I love your steering wheel, my God.

It was around 900 for labor not bad I'd say. Oh and the steering wheel I got off ebay after searching around for a couple of months cuz I had to have the one with the M-color threads:D
