got the ultimates (i think). love them, my rears make more dust now than the fronts...and quite and smooth. pretty good grip but I think not as much as the PBR metal masters I had.... otherwise real happy, don't hold that against them.... was about $70.

Akebono Euros from TireRack. Would have ordered from BMA too.

10k on them and LOVE them. Great brakes that you just don't have to think about.

I didn't see them over there... I know FCP Groton carries them. Tirerack is on the pricy side. Thanks for your help. Rockauto has them but for some pad, they are way overboard.

Call Patrick at BMA. They have them now. I called at the first of the year for my wifes '01 525 but they were still trying to work a deal with Akebono. He called a couple months later saying that they had everything worked out and he now has Akebono.

I ordered a complete set with Balo rotors for Lori's car and the results are incredible. Cold stopping power is comparable, no dust and no noise. I'm very happy with them and I'm sure you will be too.

Hope this helps,

JR

I bought Proacts from these (http://www.designrt.net/)guys.They sell on Ebay but they are reasonably local to me so i got front slotted brembos and rear slotted Zimmermans with ProActs for about $450.
They don't seem to list them but they have them.
