I've been searching the net and can't find anyplace to rent me one... I can use a straight edge to align them but I'd be much more comfortable using the right tool for this.

I bought this one from this seller. It's expensive but timing is very important. I still have mine and would sell it for $100 shipped. I also would include the flywheel lock tool.

thanks, dude... i'm either going to rent one or just use a straight edge... i wanna put the tool money towards something else...

it's a pain doing this with the motor in the car.. i'll never do it this way again.

El Paso Tools is acutally Baum Tool... very high end products.

you can get the v8 set from a place on ebay, something like 120-130 delivered, the v8 is a bitch as the cams want to spring over and won't hold in place like the inline 6 that has enough cam lobes to hold it
