Has anyone ever upgraded E34 front brakes with E39 M5 brakes??
How easy/hard is it or is it near impossible??

not without adaptor plates made up as the holes won't from the caliper won't directly line up to the strut.

Depends how determined you are, bolts do not line up but given ability to machine, tap and a lot of loctite it will work, better to find Porsche 964/993 Big Reds, or E34 M5, mine bolted straight on.

No, they do not fit. Can they be made to fit, only with a good adapter place and that is not worth it. Plus, you will need only a handful of 17in or 18in wheels. The rears would need to be balanced too and that is why many people do not use Porsche brakes. Even when using rear 540i brakes, the braking is not balanced. 540 or M5 brakes are great with 540/M5 rears. If you do need to go bigger for the front, say tracking a heavier touring, then use the 850i single piston fronts. These combinations will give you a great deal of rotor and pad choices to further balance and fine tune the braking.
