Im running the 850 4 pot Brembros up front and the standard 540 vented rears. its time to replace all 4 rotors a pads.

i was going to place an order for the EBC Red stuff pads with the EBC Sport discs upfront and EBC Green/Standard pads and sport/ standard discs rear this very evening. until a college put me right off. he says he's had 4 years of issues with EBC brakes on his Supras.

looking for a second opinion and some experience on here possibly an alternative!

what do you all reckon?

Heard and seen to many bad things with EBC now. On my E30 M3 , there was little better than genuine BMW discs. I'd go the same route on the heavy E34.I always used cheaper discs on the rear of the M3 along with cheaper pads like Jurid or Textar - the rear does so little braking you'll never notice the difference with a set of twice the money discs.
I'd go for genuine front discs and maybe some Mintex pads or similar. Euro Car Parts rear discs and Textar pads.

I am big fan of ATE Slotted Rotors... they now called it Ultimate One.

Ahh... I see what you meant. I would email them directly. Their catalog is not the latest.

i had ebc reds, they wore out on the street after 10,000kms becasue they never got to operating temperature, they worked well on the track though. poor cold weather performance also. now i run trw/lucas on the front and bedix ultimates on the rear which work well on the street.
