Have been abscent on project for a while but have now got a fix for the 'lag' on cruise control.
The cable that connects from the cruise motor the the throtle body has adjustment in it the same as a bicycle brake cable at the throtle body end. Screw the plastic retaining bush out to tighten the cable on to the throttle body, 'not too much as yo dont want to increase your idle revs' and remove the slop and 'wha-la' no more lag..

Yep, made quite a nice improvement. Just a gentle tap on the stalk and I'm immediately able to lift the foot without 'lag'.

It was one of those "why didn't I take the 2 minutes to do this years ago" moments.

I liked how the instant cruise control worked on my 750....no throttle cables!! :D
