Hi, last night I posted pics of brown sludge on the cap. I took it back to the repair shop that did the head gasket 10 months ago and they were alarmed. Upon further inspection, the mechanics agreed that this was the wrong cap for the car. The owner gave me a new cap. As well, they dumped dye into the coolant and will use UV light tomorrow to check for leaks.
I drove home ( 30 miles or so ) and the removed the cap....nothing but regular oil on there, so perhaps the wrong cap theory could be a good one. Perhaps it was sucking moisture in....
I will update you guys once this is resolved. Thanks a ton for your help.
