Does anyone know if the manuel 6 speed gearbox from the M60, will fit the M62 engine??

I know the m62 gear box fits the m60, so I don't see why not.

it will bolt up, i wouldn't hold my breath on the later computer talking to the early tranny

The 6 speed gear box still lives in pre-historic era. The only electrical parts on the 6 speed is the back-up light switch AFAIK.

No, it won't work.

The M60 version has no CPS mount. Unless you want to tap the bellhousing, or use a custom ECU/front mount tone wheel, which is stupid, source the correct trans for the engine.

Is that the manuel 6 speed gearbox you are talking about??
I am not sure what CPS mounts and ECU/front mount tone wheel is??
