It seems I have a few extra dollars rolling around and I want more Horsepower out of my car While looking around on the ebay I found this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-Parts-Engine-Rebuild-Kit-1995-96-M3-S50_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33620QQihZ019QQitem Z8072090108QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I was wondering if it would be possible to rebuild my M50 with this kit. Would that then make my engine an S50 with the same horsepower and torque as an M3? I'd really prefer to not have to do an engine swap. If anyone has any suggestions for getting more HP out of my engine please tell me. I want to keep my car naturally aspirated.
Thanks
-Mike

you would have to re-bore your engine to match the displacement of the pistons that come with that kit. You would also need to change cams...The cost of that plus the cost of the kit = more than the price of an S50 motor swap.
