1990 bmw 525ia m20
alright leaving the tim hortons parking lot and all of a sudden nothing happens, i'm giving gas and the car isn't going anywhere
popped it in reverse and seems to be the only gear that works, since i live about 5 mins down the street i reversed it home(lots of fun!!)
fluid levels were fine, it was driving normally before
there was no trans prog error
on the way back i tried it in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and D and the car didn't want to budge, only reving
in anycase can the auto tranny still be saved or is it completely fubar'd?
and well i've got an 87 325i manual sitting here so... would i be able to take all the necesary parts off of it, are they compatible?
would i need to pick up a different ecu?
