I use Denso Iridium. Same V8, smaller bore.

i use OEM Bosch ones. I just changed all of mine. Car starts easier and im now averaging 23.8mpg. Sort of unheard of for any V8 but I just went 160 miles on 6.7 gallons of gas.

Bosch Super is what in the car now... If I had to buy a set now... (I probably do)... then I'd buy from Autohausaz.com... they got the Bosch SuperPlus plug there for under $5 a piece... whereas BMA wants like $7

SuperPlus is basically the same as Super with longer lasting design.

Didn't you hear? One of the guy on the forum put Platinum+4 in his 540 and it ruined his engine... plug literally melted his plug thread and only the coil pack is holding it in.

i have denson iridiums in right now...

They made a slight difference if any...not worth the extra admission price. Stick with stock.

NGK are GREAT PLUGS! Bosch quality is not what it once was. I use NGK BKR7E (check for your application) at $1.70 a plug.

How about NGK's ? I'm thinking of using them on my next plug change.
My past experience with them showed they burned cleaner, as if they run slightly hotter than other stock plugs.
But that was with 'U' groove type NGK's. Anyone know if the BMW NGK plugs have the 'U' groove electrode wire on them ?

I use autolites from NAPA. They're like $2 a piece and work great.
