The radiator for my M20 equipped car has a double temperature switch that screws into the radiator on the driver side header. This switch I believe is for the air conditioning system. Well the wires are busted from the switch. I deleted the A/C system last year.
So was wondering if deleting this switch (so I can avoid a wiring repair) will have any affect on the cooling system?
Does this switch also serve to kick on the electric fan to cool the radiator, ie hard driving or traffic on hot day?

TIA

removed aux fan, condenser and all the remaining associated A/C crap that I dont need anymore.
the dual temp switch is now used as a plug.
With all the air passing the radiator and having the rad. fan with shroud should be sufficient cooling.
Thanks for your input!

Cars without A/C from the factory have no auxiliary cooling fan, but use the same radiator sans the aux fan switch. Therefore, with your A/C deleted you should be fine.
