They have about 55K on them in about 3 years. I pulled them off this weekend, wanted a little softer ride. I will clean them up & take pics in the next day or so. Nothing wrong with them, no leaks etc. Will send original sales reciept. Asking $150 plus shipping from Richmond, VA. Or if you are not too far away, I would be willing to meet in the middle.

Thanks,

Tracy

What softer ride did you go with?

does the sachs kit give you the option of shocks?

The ride height is pretty close to the same as the BavAuto combo. The ride is much more compliant now. Ride quality is definately firmer than stock, but handles bumps nicely without being harsh.

I've had both the Sach's kit, Sach's kit with Koni front and the BavAuto Spring/Bilstein, BavAuto/Koni front.

My thoughts were that the Bilstein front shock was the "killer" for the BavAuto deal. With the BavAuto Koni Adjustable front/Bilstein rear, I thought it was perfect in my 530. My 535 has the Sachs (Eibach) Koni Adjustable front/Sachs shock rear and is pretty firm. I think the Sachs springs are firmer than the BavAuto. The Sachs shocks are matched to the springs however and thus give a very compliant and well sorted ride. That said, my guess is that if you had changed from Bilstein front shocks to Koni, you would have been happy with your BavAuto if a softer ride was what you had in mind.

According to BavAuto, the springs will fit & the shocks will fit for production dates 7/90 and later.
