I ended up leaving the car at Kim's dad's mechanic (been doing their german cars for YEARS), and borrow her E30 for the week.

Good thing I wasn't in the 540i/6 today, even better thing I didn't borrow her OTHER car. If this had happened to either one of those...

Buy an old chevy pickup, throw some tube steps and a big front bumper with a brush guard on it... :) at least you will inflict more damage than you recieve with the next one.
