CD changer use with Aftermarket HU

Will an aftermarket hu interface with the OEM Pioneer cd changer?

Not likely, and really not likely through the factory wiring.
I have been researching a little about the HU/Changer combinations and I have come to the conclusion that I know less now than when I did when I started.
