Speed bleeders (caliper) bad for a track car?

So i heard something recently, u DO NOT want to use these on a track car. I’ve used them for a while on the datsun and the bimmers but was about to slap some on the MR2 which IS a track car (see other post). Was told that they can fail under the extreme conditions of road course use.
Has anybody else heard of this?

Paul,
I am fortunate to be to do some wrenching on real race cars occasionally.
None have anything other than regular bleeders. Bleeding and bolt checks every time out.
