hello,
I searched through threads and found some similar to mine, and they were useful to understand where to start; in particular:

http://www.bimmer.info/forum/showthread.php?t=11224&highlight=window
http://www.bimmer.info/forum/showthread.php?t=8124&highlight=window+track

e34 525tds station 1995
passenger window did a bang while going down with then only front part of the window able to go down (window inclinated).

Then I suddenly stopped and was able to have it come up again. It blocked in angle only if I went down more than half the window...

I took care thinking to work it out in some days..
but in the mean time my wife forgot and pulled it whole down...got worse...window blocked.. only way was to manually take it up and no more goes down/up.

I presume going to a mechanic could cost more than 100 euros....
I live in Italy near Milan and Pavia.
Where to get parts you refer into the threads to start the adventure?
such as plastic window sliders, plastic regulatory clips, aluminum clips (that actually attaches to the glass)
Do I need specialized screwdrivers? I merely have simple screwdrivers at the moment... (+ and - ones...)
You always speak about dealers where you get parts... is it the same in Italy? Do Italian posters have any address to refer to for these cheap parts I need?

Thanks in advance.

Gianluca,

before you start the repair, just remove the doorpanel from the door and have a look what happened.
Then buy the pieces you need. For the meantime you also can drive without the doorpanel.
It looks like you need the white sliders,
Window sliding piece 51321938884, 2 pieces are needed, cost you less than 10 EURO at the spare parts counter of your BMW dealer.
They look like this

Then buy several of these: 51411973500
because they could break when you remove the door panel
Panel Clip for Door Linings, Interior Trim Panels, Trunk Panels, Roof Trim Mouldings, Etc.
costs maybe 0.50 EURO a pice

If the window glass has separated from the tracks, read this

In case the gear is broken at the window, you need this

http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=mmu4ad55v13ll22d4yr2giaa&makeid=800003@BMW&modelid=1012116@525IT&year=1995&cid=13@Body,%20Trim%20%26%20Lighting&gid=1577@Window%20Regulator
Probably you can get that from a used parts dealer or from a car recycling shop.
To remove the door panel, something here
http://bmwe32.masscom.net/sean750/doorpanel/RemovingDoorPanel.htm
but note, this is from an E32, so it is similar but not the same.

Here is the Italian Ebay
