Dude, guess I did get a deal. Mine needs the turbo sent in for a rebuild & I have a shop lined up for that. And it was no trivial task taking the parts off the donor car, but sometimes I get lucky. I went back the next week & got the donor 745i turbo head for $29 & had to pay a $5 core charge :( Also got the oil cooler & lines & filter cannister with the proper fittings. Hope to get around to installing the whole business later this summer.

Wow, 7 bidders and still 5 days... people are really stupid when it comes to bidding, $900 isnt even worth this ****, let alone what the auction will end at.

If your gonna turbo your 3.5, source your own piping, manifold and a rebuilt KKK turbo(or bigger) $2000 bucks. Hell you can get a non running 745 for under $2000 and get a return for the other parts...

you did get a cheap deal. over here they would want around aud$2000+ for a similar setup. but hey we never officially got a e23 745i
