I have a couple bulbs out on the dash but while I am in there I want to replace all of them. Where is a good source for the bulbs
Looks like I will need
6 - 1.5 watt bulbs
3- 3 watt bulbs
13- 1.2 watt bulbs

Anyone done this before?

Thanks

Ken

BavAuto has them... order them all, replacement is not that difficult.

Check bmwe34.net

I bought them at both places and found the dealer to be reasonable when I consider shipping.

You can find the 3 watt bulbs at most parts places, and if you are lucky the others as well.

What kind of bulb are they, bayonet?

the 3 watt ones come out of the base, so all you need to do is match the bulb.

I'd pull them then go shopping, so you can compare the bulbs and mounts.

Even the dealer gets them wrong.

Trying to avoid the dealers around here. They probably want 10 bucks a piece for each bulb here in Dayton Ohio

If you find the bulbs only which fit in the holder, that will be the cheapest.
I recently removed the bulb from the holder (usually sold as a piece). The bulb sits in a insert and can be removed.

woohoo just did this yesterday! the part number has changed on one set of the bulbs and has been replaced with another number. All bulbs are available from your warm seat infront of your computer at autohausaz.com Mine only needed 12 of the 1st set.

13- 62 13 1 383 311
6- 62 11 391 260
3- 3 watt bulbs...no numbers but available at their site. osram 12v 3 watt.

there are things I never seen before on my cluster...
