curious as to the quality...
Should I just spend the extra and get some from abrahams motorsport?

Those look interesting. They might fly on a black car. Otherwise, I don't know. I'm too old for the fast and the furious car designs. My tastes tend to be more with the grey haired crowd. Damn old people. They smell. They smeeell!!!

On the other hand, young folks sometimes have issues with taste. Keep'in it real Ay Aight!

Wherever you buy them, they are made in Taiwan or China.
I belive manta69 on Bimmerboard E32 forum has them installed.
Just try them, no big investment.

It was once Hongkong, English Crown Colony
during the time I lived in HK.

On June 30, 1997, a 99-year leasing agreement ended (directly modeled on the German-Chinese Kiautschou Contract of 1898, by the way). Since that date, all 6 to 7 million Hong Kongese (nobody really knows the exact figure) are citizens of the (People's) Republic of China, including the roughly 2.5 million BDTC- residents (British Dependent Territories Citizens).

This
Item location: Hong Kong, Chinese: 香港 (Xiānggǎng), 香江 (Xiāngjiāng)

they have items stocked in HK and U.S.

in anycase it is pretty clear from the pictures that they are clears with a smoked coating on the outside of the lights.

I'd spend the extra $7 to get the ones from abrahams myself.

There is virtually no manufacturing in Hong Kong now. Factories all moved to mainland China.

Little known fact. China is now the number 3 automobile manufacturing country in the world. They made so many cars every year but almost all for domestic market. I heard they start to export to Gemany.
