...I believe that there is one available in Vancouver for about $20,000.00 US. This seems like quite a premium for this car.

Can anyone find the mileage on this thing?

Well, you'd be one of less than 6 people in the US to own one. For some, that might be worth it.

correct me if im wrong but wasnt that supposed to be 300km/h not 280?

for Fitty gran US its seems a bit steep. I had mine at 240 km/h with heaps more in reserve but I got a bit spooked and was running out of road. I have no doubt I could have pulled it off the clock. and i didnt need $50 k us to do it. Still it would nice to have in the shed wouldnt it.

heh, i wouldnt pay $50k to know that they took that very same car up to 180+mph, who knows how many times they did that...

if you are a collector with tons of disposable income, everything is affordable.

Hell ive gotten up to 225km/h just for fun in the 530i, 240 in a biturbo is nothing.

Man do i want those seats...

NO E34 is worth 50k

They were basically that (and more with inflation at today's rate) when new, mate. Sticker on my 535 in late 1989 was ~43k.

Two questions on my mind --

1) Rear door quarter shades not working?

2) WHY is it being sold? Wasn't this thing just imported...less than 6 months ago?!

Autoscout has at a quick check 42 b10 alpinas...not sure if they are bi turbo or not.
mobile I would assume has the same amount.
If my 520 will get to 210 kmph, then who needs a biturbo? besides, it is very seldom that one can get past 170 on the autobahn here...tooo much traffic!

E34 M5 3.8 is way cheaper and better car too. Alpina cars are more expensive than M-power cars I don't know why.

Yeah, this is Greg's. He's on here every now and then. He went through a major hassle to get this car federalized, and now he has his eye on a very nice red one. Pretty sure he's just testing the water, seeing if he gets any bites. This car is VERY nice.

So ok, you can get a brand new 2008 BMW 550i for 55-65K+ with a 5 year warranty. The Alpina is a decent car, but that one in the ad looks like it's been road hard and put up wet. For being a car that needs TLC, 50K is way the **** off.

Yep, lots of options with 50k in your pocket. Few other than himself will value it so dearly.
