I am trying to remove the front seat of my 1990 Alpina B10. I don't know if Alpina used something different to hold down the Recaro seats but I haven't seen this kind of a bolt before. The outside of the bolt is in the shape of a star with probably 8 points. I have seen bolts that hold down seats before where the outside is round and the inside is in a star pattern but not this way. Does anyone know what kind of a bolt this is and where I might find a tool to remove it.

The reason for removing the seat is because the seat height adjustment is not working and I thought that I would take the seat out and look at if a wire was cut or if maybe the motor could be replaced. If anyone has some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks,

Jesse

Nothing special, it is a outer torx. That you should have, because also the tranny has the se outer torx.
