apologies for gigantic pic. still new to this digital photography thing.

i searched for this on realoem, came up empty. so i'll give you my lame-ass description: right behind the grill, in front of the fan for the condenser (or evaperator, i always get the two mixed up, pretty sure it's the condenser tho.) there's this ...coil thing. looks like a squared figure-eight on its side. this is fastened to the top with a screw or bolt, which i have lost. you can see where the head would go next to the green label, with a shoddily drawn red circle.

all help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

gale, you made my day. and i bet attack eagle's day too. that is if his...whatever that thing is... rattles all over his fan with the a/c on like mine does...

woo hoo! now i can use my a/c in places other than the freeway!

actually no rattles... I don't think I have whatever was being retained by that (ps cooler maybe?), possibly because mine is an SLS car.

huh. weird. nothing in front of your condenser fan?

btw, it's m6, but 10mm is a little long. doesn't interfere with anything, but 5mm will work no prob.
