Your engine is bigger than mine, but your miles are twice as big. Daily driver, yes?

Maybe not strictly daily but i've been using it for work when i do mainly delivering Home IV therapy drugs for a Nation wide Home Healthcare Provider as an Independent contractor. That is about to change as the company thru whom I contract has not raised their rates to match the dramatic increases in the cost of Gasoline so the Job hunt is on in earnest. For the first year owning it I considered myself fortunate to be able to drive it making money all over the Northeast USA but this Gas price BS has taken the profit out of it so its just not worth doing anymore. Just a side note that i bought it a year ago last month with 129,000 miles on it.

It's .48 a milefederal mandated reimbursement in my neck of the woods. At the current mpg of our cars, you would see 9.60 of every 10 bucks you spend on gas optimistically. So yea, they need to make up for it in bonuses or get used to attrition. Sorry about that. Love your car btw.

ouch. $0.48 / mile wouldn't do much. I get $0.45 / km as part of my job and still do well, as all my vehicles are payed for and I don't spent much on maintenance.

Well done on the mileage :D

I am a firm believer in driving this car. Time rapidly passes and its viability is thereby limited. Let me get every miligram of enjoyment out of the Ulitmate Driving Machine. The idea of babying it , garaging it so it will be around for a long time to come won't work for me. You should see the nose of this car ,its practically sandblasted white,lol..

Well not ,i just thougth it was a sexy angle. I'll take a pic of the nose today and it'll probably seem like I exaggerated but still a paint job wouldn't hurt it a bit.

I'll take $15,000 and you can put it in your garage.I just put two new front tires on this morning and it seems i may not have needed the M5 bushings as urgently as i believed but they're going on sometime this week anyway..as long as there are replacement parts this thing can never die.Come to think of it the only other car I'd want as a daily driver is another one of these so it really is the best of all possible worlds for me.

1. by passing Austin is a big mistake...BIG
2. those pits will never come out. I tried that process, and it's frankly cheaper to get a new hood and kidneys. you can fill the bumper cover and get away with it b/c it's low and more out of sight.

If you really take that trip, get with me on your Texas itinerary, and let me juice it up a little bit.

don't forget www.aclfest.com in september. dylan's closing this year

It does that automatically at the start of the CD and as each successive trac changes. I don't know weather it is a permenantly set feature or if there is a way to program it on an off. It only displays for a few seconds then goes out .

Well I just paid my property tax, renewed my Bimmer registration, bought new tires and control arm bushings and plan to grab the struts and shocks asap and have them installed so we'll see how much room for a $2k or so road trip remains after that. I have a feeeling i'll need to put that off til maybe fall or next spring the way it looks now. Off to work! btw I used to live in San Antonio so i am somewhat familiar with that area of Texas. Use to swim at the Guadelupe River State park a lot. I ran a Storage Facility on Pat Booker Rd IH 35 N in Live Oak called the Lock and Go back around Gulf War one.

Yes, today we had outstanding crisp clear weather here in NH. I was out bombing around the highways and she was her old self again.. not a shudder or vibration to be felt and pulled up to 120 like a Tomahawk missle chasing Osama Bin Laden, balls to the walls as the saying goes. A freindly howdy do to you NSA folks monitoring flagged terms... Cheers!
