Found one at e34.net, but not comprehensive.

Found Lowell's

Found an E32 writeup

I hardly know how to turn a wrench, so a little nervous. Any other writeups? Tips? Advice?

Thanks. :D

Oh yeah: Still not sure with what suspenion. Want to go with H&R sport/Billie Sport but trying to find a good price. Do I also need to replace strut mounts? Replace anything else? Are the upper control arms more labor?

Looking for writeups, not the search function.

use the search function and you'll find at least five writeups... probably 20 writeups... on what to buy and how to install it... and what not to do

use your manners and you'll get a ton of help.. be a dick and everyone will ignore you

Also check the archives. There may be some gems there.

Qube, you're not issuing tickets anymore?

Dude, I know how to use the search, thanks. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other websites.

Trying to see how I'm the dick...thanks for the forum help, jeez, never used these things before. :(

EDIT: Big thanks to Qube for not only not screaming the traditional "SEARCH" but also being helpful, and yes, not giving me a ticket for not searching. :p

I'm still searching, and haven't seen what I'm looking for. You have to understand the limitations of a search engine such as the one on .info.

But may have been persuaded to go up to the Konis, because I'm unclear about bumpstops and Billies. :(

I'm an MCSE.. Network Engineer. The search on .info is good, dude.

I did mine last year... shocks, springs, steering, and a bunch of other stuff. You can find everything you need by searching and then getting answers to specific questions by posting.

There are also a few master mechanics on this board.. in addition to the guys and girls who have owned and worked on BMWs for many years... and there's 632Regal who knows everything about everything.

Do you think I just registered here?

Why else would I post a thread? It's to ask the mechanics. What if somebody like you, who just did a complete suspension install, didn't post about it or do any sort of writeup? That would not show up in a search, since it is non-existant. Get what I'm saying?

New threads aren't the devil. ;)

search.. you'll find at least five... probably twenty threads dedicated to suspension overhauls and upgrades.
