was wondering...

im looking at this part num

there is a +core in the notes...
"+core = Requires mandatory core return."

what does that mean?

You have to return the defective part (that is the core), otherwise they charge you more (core price).
That is the same like you have with remanufactured transmissions and engines. If you return your defective (still usable part for the repair shop), you get a core refund, otherwise you have to pay more without returning a core (=defective part), same applies to alternator and starter. And also the Mass Airflow Meter and other parts.
