Not me. I wouldn't try to repair any speaker unlessit was a PPI PRO12 or something, and in that case I'd send it to be done professionally.

For Stock e34 speakers, they are so cheap it isn't worth messing with.

parts cars. ebay. etc.

Mine still has 9 of the original 10 in good shape. I had to replace one tweeter two days after I amped `em.

I've bought them on ebay. There are some out there with the added voice coils. I think they were premium sound?? Dropped right in.

One of my rears cuts out intermittently. Not enough to bother me to remove the seats... the rear passengers notice it but to heck with them ;)

It should be replace with a speaker that has the same Ohm Rating as the OEM. DVC Speakers can work correctly depending on the wiring.
