Relay Question

guys anyone knows where the A/C compressor relay is??my car is a 09/89 bmw 525i e34 m20...having problems with it...thanks any pics too will help:D

Should be K23 in auxiliary fuse box, see wiring diagrams for your built year/month, around page 16

I checked, it has 3 relays 2 was from hi/low of the fan the third I don't know.I turned the AC on and pulled the third relay AC compressor still works.Is that the relay?

Just have a look into the wiring diagrams which I linked above. Each relay position is shown there and for what it is.
It is really worthwhile to study these wiring diagrams, there is also a component location section which shows every single wiring connection on your car, which wires are connected, their colors, purpose etc pp.

ok thanks shogun...i'm having troubles with my AC i just replaced my AC compressor, evaporator, e.valve, drier, and Ac sword and AC computer box...still has a prob. have this prob for a year now...when the air is cold the compressor shuts off as normal but doesent come back on. First i was looking for the AC thermostat bt iguess i dont have it..Now im checking the relay which im still looking for..any advice?

Shogun, you wouldnt happen to know if there's a link to a 525td/s version of these documents somewhere would you?

Sorry, but diesel are a bit neglected in the US wiring diagrams, I am afraid.
Maybe there are German wiring diagrams, that should cover the diesel models.
But where to get?
You could ask on www.e34.de
English is o.k. for many of them.
