My E32 730i fuel pump had a loud whine and acceleration didnt feel upto standard.
Anyway I changed the fuel filter(sound died down a bit) and connected up a fuel pressure gauge , pressure needle was flickering 40-45 odd PSI and decreased to 30 when revved along with the engine stumbling a bit when throttle was let off.
Also Swapped the fuel pressure regulator from my E34 to make sure it wasnt that
Im pretty sure its the pump but just looking for some confirmation before i buy a new one.
