Top one was installed late September, the bottom one is going in today. Behind them are some freshly refinished 1.5" red oak floors from 1916.

Not sure about left hookers, assume you take the glove box out but just imagine the fun doing that on a right hooker. Its under/behind/in front of the steering column. come to think of it, forget the word hooker, measn something else there!

Nah... Very easy... Once the glove box is out of the way, it's just a matter of removing the trim and sliding it out. About 10 minutes...

"Public Service Announcement". I was cleaning my office today and ran into a filter I had ordered a while back. I normally and good about changing those every 6 months (since we have a long pollen season up here and I rarely drive around with the windows open). There was a huge mass of leaf debris in there too. Not as bad as the mouse from a few years ago.

The instructions are on this page:

While you have the glove box off it's a good time to clean it out too. I had 5 years worth of registrations in there along with some other "expired" goodies.

Damn, what do you drive behind?

I've had mine in for a year, expected it needed a change and once I got it out, noticed it was barely dark.

Last year I put 9k on the car. 1 trip to Destin, another 2 Hatteras, several to Raleigh and a few trips here and there. My drive to work is 2.5 miles (it would be about 6 if I had to walk/ride due to a river near me that doesn't have a pedestrian walkway).

Car isn't burning anything but like I said I always have the air on and rarely open up the windows at all.
