Suspension Pinging...

Hi there ive had my e34 535i sport for a couple of months now but been reading this forum for a long time - i've got a loud pinging noise coming from one of the rear suspension parts when i come off a curb etc, any ideas on what it could be?

I've been looking for the right e34 for so long and now ive got it - theres a couple of teething problems to be expected i suppose! :p

(Im new to the site and the car maintenance-wise so bare with me!)

P.S Can anyone tell me how i get a picture in with my threads etc????!!!

i get the same noise. planning on doing some bushings, shocks and struts so i'm sure i will find it.

most likely the rear swaybar mounts and bushings, especially if it is like mine and only does it when one wheel is affected by a bump more than the other.

That must be it thanks! It doesn't happen when going over a normal bump but when coming off a curb at an angle. I'll check it out thanks again!
