View Full Version : OT: About to backflush the Tahoe... any other tips?

Got the kit, looks like it flushes it up thru the radiator... is that gonna get the heavier stuff out? Or should I flush down too, there has to be a drain plug at the bottom...?

Mmm... tastes like chicken!

Found the rad drain plug (screw-type valve thingie), flushed it clean. Didn't see much sludge, but I'm sure it was in there somewhere... refilled it, we'll drive it a while and see if it comes back.
