My daughter just bought a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T quattro with 24,000 miles from an Audi dealer. Seems like a rather nice car with auto sunroof, built in 6 cd stereo system. It was an Audi certified car with at least 3 years warrenty left on it. Anyone know of a good Audi forum or specific problems with this year A4?

BTW, we went in to look at a 2004 BMW 325xi with 45,000 miles and to honest, the Audi just seems to be a better car. TIA

+1 on vwvortex. My friend here at work just had his timing belt snap at 80K miles and wreck his motor. Everything on the car was great up to 50-60K and then everything under the sun went wrong with it. Caveat Emptor and get ready for electrical issues :)

"it is a good thing" that my daughter has an audi certified warrenty for 3+ more years and the audi sludge warrenty for about 4+ years, Also there were no recalls and all maintanence has been performed. Only warrently repair has been a coolant outlet. It was a lease vehicle from Jack Daniels Audi (no kidding on name) in Fair Lawn NJ. that made its way to central KY somehow.

We will maintain it well. Interior looks brand new and outside has no nicks or significant scratches. Has 24,000 miles.

BTW, I do not think the body is anywhere as sound as our e34s even though the car weighs 3,500 curb.
