Rolled over the 250,000 mile mark today (Friday). I did not get a pic of the actual event since I forgot my camera, but I did come home one mile short yesterday.

Here is the odometer pic from Thursday when I got home:

Now I'm working on the next 1/4 million!

impressive

how much maintainence has it taken to get all the way there? i just rolled over 115,000, and I'm risking losing the car because maintainence is too much $$.

Dont make me add it up and ruin my quarter million party! ;)

It actually has not been too bad as far a maintenance goes. I have done all the work myself with the help of this forum and it hasn't been too bad. The hardest job by far was the headgasket replacement, head rebuild, and oil pan work I did that took me over a year to complete due to lack of time and my pet peeves...broken bolts and sheered studs...(drill buy new bits, drill some more... extract, nope... drill again...give up take it to machine shop.)

It's getting to be time for new suspension components in the front end again that I totally replaced just over 4 years ago. More $$$... But still cheaper than a car payment for a newer, less interesting ride.

Overall I'd say that I've come out fairly close to the mainenance on any other one of my cars.
