I know shogun posted one example, there were a couple different ones people had done. Should i post this in the 7-series section?

yea, basicly it is a complete transformation, round style knob and leather shift boot.

hmmm....I saw that surround plastic thing that came from the e38 and I liked it:D do you know what that thing is called exactly...so I could ask the boys in the yard or the stealer on how much that'll cost?it's kinda hard to explain that over the phone if I just told them "that surround plastic thingy":p

Look what i just won!!!!

Clicky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=330122617830&rd=1&rd=1)

I sniped the highest bidder with 4 seconds left, Buddy probally has no idea what happened. Anyways, my shifter is ghetto/broken and old, time to fit my e34 with a more modern e38 shifter with leather boot, that is until i get my manual swap parts in.

Il update later with pics
