I don't think there is a EAT chip available for 530i "auto". Is it still true?

im not 100% sure, but there was a couple group buys going on a couple months ago from Dsylvia himself and there was a 530i auto chip available in the list with specs. Il look it up and post tomorrow, i think it was on a different forum.

He was testing a 530i chip awhile back. Had to get the conforti chip from turner motor sports instead. Very happy with the conforti one, if that's any consolation.

this guy has been burning knock-off chips for years, I guess as long as it was burned off a real working 530 upgrade chip it would be okay but for that price I would question the risk.

Sounds like a massive power increase to me? on a 540i from 286 to 326bhp? I know chips are the easiest way to get a good power boost ( got a superchip in my 535i) but that sounds like too much? Anyone else agree / disagree?

naw thats possible, just that the same chip works in all these different cars is wrong. There is NO WAY an auto chip for a 540 will work in the 530, especially after I tested the EAT chips, the 530 auto has an extra layer burned in there to cut the engine for a moment as it changes gears (wimp trans).
