I'm trying to replace the rear rigid fuel and brake lines on the 540i. Except for the intermediates on the semi-trailing arms, all are no longer. Bav Auto was unable to get them either. This stinks, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with rusting lines. Anyone have a source for new ones I missed? I'm trying to replace everything at once while I've got the rear sub frame out. Worst case, I'm thinking about running AN lines front to rear.

Can you goto a brake shop and have them fabricate some new lines. It's not hard to do.

I think yaofeng fab'd his own lines last year.

i got mine at the dealer no prob, $12 per trailing arm for the line, but i had to do the bends myself.

I'd just get the AN lines, will give more options down the road.

Thanks for the links, they're great. I haven't made up my mind yet, but these are all feasible options for me as of now. I do like the idea of bending my own lines, as I'm trying to keep the car as stock in appearance as possible. No reason to advertise, right? I also apparently need to re-evaluate how I'm searching the archives to find this stuff, because I missed this.
Thanks again,
Chris
