Clanking/Knocking when making U-Turns

The noise sounds like its right under the emergency brake. I was thinking it might be the universal but after I took a look under the car I'm really hoping its not. Thats got to be one PITA to replace those things.
I did notice the that the flex bushing at the trans is cracked/split on the rubber. Could that be doing it?

had that noise when turning hard in my e36 325i...checked it and it was the trans. support so I change those and although not broken I changed my engine support aswell. Try checking your transmission support
