Can anybody recommend a reputable vendor of rebuilt torque converters that is willing to use the US Postal Service to mail them to customers?

I need a new torque converter for my 89 325i w/4HP22 non-electric atuo tranny. I live overseas and can only take receipt of packages via the Armed Forces Post Office.

I will be grateful for any help you folks can provide.

Thanks.....

Maybe he can help you.

I live in Tokyo/Japan.
Have found here the Yahoo auction in Japan on E30 parts, selected the pic show so that you can see all items easier

If you find something, let me know.
But I am not in the Armed Forces. So I could not send you any part via that, just normal parcel by the Japanese post office.

Another source could be

Kirt Koeller is very reputed among E30, E34 and E32 drivers.
