I have been playing on ebay, as you do, and came across this:

"This car is a fantastic restoration project. I have been led to believe this is the rare E28 M version although finding concrete confirmation of this is proving difficult. If you are interested in this car please take note of the information I have collected so far and feel free to find out more. The body kit is fitted and marked by Zender, one the world’s best styling and tuning companies and have been around since 1969. All modifications made by M-Tec, were done when the car was brand new. One BMW expert told me this car was registered on a system as a ‘Taurus car’, unfortunately neither he, nor I have been able to find out what this means exactly. The big six motor in this 528i M model is known as the "M30". The M30 is a 12 valve SOHC inline six cylinder design. In the E28 chassis it was one of the fastest sedans for its time, and it remains legendary among enthusiasts today."

Anyone know what a "taurus car" is?

And a little bit of fun:

"Taurus" is the name of the BMW color of the sport seat leather. That's all. Nothing special as the color was a standard choice for leather, though not a common one. Think of dried bull's blood and I believe you'll have a feel for the nomenclature chosen to describe the color.

The car in the bottom link has simply had silver-gray leather seats stuck into what looks to be a car with a Natur (beige) interior. That's ugly.
