code 1222 Lambda Control 1 what is wrong

I got my project 89 535 running Saturday. Cleaning switches, connectore, and tranny fluid got her out of limp home mode and the tranny seems fine. I put a new O2 sensor in since I had to swap the broken exhaust. I have driven the cat 100 miles and did the stomp test today. I get a code 1222 (lambda control 1 - o2 regulation). the car seems to run good. What should I be looking for? The car has a build date of 11-88.

any lambda code means that the computer cant get the fuel mixture close enough to regulate. This is usually some sort of intake leak or bad injectors.
