Hi, the 'search the forum' button doesnt appear to be working today or I wouldnt be asking this :-) My car always starts first time - except today! It fired but died immediately. I pulled off the pipe to the fuel rail at the front of the engine and when I crank it I get fuel coming out. Not very scientific but at least its arriving at the rail. But I'm surprised it doesnt pump fuel without cranking. Is this correct? Contacts on DME and fuel pump relay looked tarnished so cleaned them up and put them back. After turning the key a hell of a lot longer than is normal it finally ran but wasnt very happy about it. Want to go about checking this out in a logical sequence so any ideas appreciated.
