I prefer the third pic (your sig). I'd take an e34 chassis with one of those new 535 engine combos anyday...

There they go making the same mistake again. Pricing the 1 series so close to the 3 series that they won't sell. Same thing happened to the 318ti. Also a major problem when the X3 came out and wasn't selling because a loaded one cost as much as an X5. Maybe one day they'll get it right.

That refreshed 5 doesn't look any different from the older ones. :\

yea um, whats so different about the 5? all i see are some different wheels. there isnt 30k worth of car there to make 1 series a smart purchase. It should be priced more towards the lower 20s since they designed it to compete with the VW GTI.

The front bumper looks a bit rounder and the air intake has been turned upside down. Not that much of a visual facelift. Compare to this:

All they did was make the body shape less distinctive.

Looks like a Camry

Wrong, Camry looks like a 5

Wrong, Camry looks like a 5

Same as how there have been several 90s jap cars that copied the E34, and then the current model ford falcons sucked their headlights from the E46.

i don't even like the new wheels.

what's it gonna take for me to like the 5 series again? children and a picket fence? bs. it's gonna take a freakin flux capacitor and 1.8 gigawatts at 88 mph in a delorean. or a bullet in the brain - i dunno whose, mine or bangle's.

Really, I think your signature pics look better than their top of the line new model cars.

The refreshed 5 series looks like my grandmothers oldsmobile and that 1 series looks like a gremlin with a nice paint job.

I hope they keep making cars that look like complete **** so the value of mine will go up.

Just think of our children, it will be their old car when they grow up! Oh god I can't even think... So much plastic in 2050...
